It offers helpful recommendations for the choice, preparation, and use of herbal formulations for the management, control, and treatment of a variety of diseases Numerous clinically effective medications for the treatment of both acute and chronic illnesses have been made possible by phytocompounds and their chemical analogues. Additionally, studies are continually being conducted to find newer therapeutic compounds from medicinal p lants. Because they are believed to be safer than allopathic treatments, the use of herbal medicines for the prevention, treatment, and prophylaxis of many ailments is growing globally.
A review of this subject would be beneficial given the history of clinical practice and the enormous potential of herbal medicine and/or its constituents. The potential benefits of using herb al medicines to prevent and treat high blood pressure are covered in this article.
