Abstract:

Ibuprofen is a Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID) is used for primarily for pain, fever, dysmenorrhea and inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis or others like pericarditis. Ibuprofen intravenous infusion is used for the treatment of pain and fever after surgery. The application of Ibuprofen intravenous infusion for moderate to severe pain in major surgeries as well as the replacement of opioid analgesic to reduce the time and cost for hospitalization.
