A review on: Herbal hair gel preparation and evaluation

Abstract:

Hair loss is a dermatological disorder characterized by a drop in hair volume. It is caused by various microorganisms such as Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans, and Candida aeruginosa. The etiology of hair loss is still unknown, and the available medical treatments have not yet reached a satisfactory level of development. Herbal hair gels that are made of natural ingredients including flax seed and guava leaves herbal extracts may help reduce dandruff and regulate hair loss. The flaxseed used in gel provides good base for strengthening the hair along with reducing hair fall and treating the scalp. It has antimicrobial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. Medicinal Hair gels assist in repairing the different problems that by chemicals found in a range of products that are sold. The herbal hair gel formulas were prepared using different amounts of extract. The color, transparency, smell, visual appearance, and presence of foreign particles of the manufactured hair gel were assessed.
